Tony and Ann Giles
Tony and Ann are from Bedfordshire. Tony is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, “retired” from the NHS. Ann is a nurse. Together they have served with Mercy Ships in West Africa, improving quality of life for many people via head and neck surgery. Nowadays they are widening their horizons, working in partnership with Mercy Ships and other organisations in training roles, especially with cleft lip and palate surgery, aiming to build capacity and sustainability.

They also have an ongoing attachment to The Hope Medical Centre in N’zao, Guinea (www.hopeguinea.org).
Tony and Ann divide their time between Africa and coming home to see their six daughters. Tony still undertakes locum work in the UK when he can.
